About Us
Golden Dance Studios was first established in 1991, when Principal Miss Marie Golden successfully completed her teaching qualifications with the IDTA.
We are fully registered with the International Dance Teachers Association, and are proud to follow the IDTA syllabus. All classes are conducted by qualified and experienced teachers who are dedicated to dance, to ensure that all students are trained safely to a high standard.
We provide a fun and friendly atmosphere in all classes, and work hard to develop self-confidence and technique, but most of all to love dance and have fun.
We aim to ensure that each and every student, is encouraged to reach their full potential, whether you are dancing simply for a hobby, or to full fill your dreams to become a professional dancer.
We hold regular shows at professional theatres, where all pupils are given the opportunity to perform on stage, and a chance to showcase all their hard work and dedication. This is an exciting opportunity to develop performance skills, and confidence and is always a memorable occasion for both parents and students.
Students are also encouraged to enter for their examinations in all disciplines with the IDTA, to enable them to be rewarded for their progress. We hold an 100% pass rate and can take students up to professional teaching exams.
We have many past pupils who have been accepted into professional dance and performing art colleges, and are now enjoying a career in dance either teaching or performing all over the world.
